Method
From raw documents to a product in production, without starting from scratch.
Every project follows four stages: scoping, first use case, deployment, handover. At each stage, the perimeter tightens. It starts from your documents and security constraints, and ends with a product deployed in your infrastructure, handed over with its evaluation report, its code and its documentation. The schedule for each stage is set out at scoping.
Scoping
We study your business, your data, your processes and your security constraints before writing a line of code. Scoping sets the perimeter, measurable success criteria and the schedule of the following stages.
Deliverables
- Scoping note
- Measurable success criteria
- Stage schedule
First use case
A first use case is implemented on your own data, within your environment, with success criteria defined in advance. You judge on the evidence, and the decision to continue is taken on observed results.
Deliverables
- First use case running on your data
- Measurements against the success criteria
- Go / no-go decision
Deployment
The product is deployed in your infrastructure, connected to your access rights and systems, documented, then evaluated on a question set agreed with you. Reversibility is organised from this stage.
Deliverables
- Product in production
- Evaluation report
- Documentation and operating procedures
Handover
You receive the code, documented installation and a skills transfer. Your teams operate and evolve the product without depending on us.
Deliverables
- Source code
- Installation documentation
- Skills transfer
What stays the same from one project to the next
Without starting from scratch
Every project builds on proven components (ingestion, search, citation, evaluation), adapted to your context. They speed up delivery without tying you to a rented service: you receive their code.
Measure before claiming
No performance figure is announced before it has been measured on your data. The evaluation report states what was measured, how, and on which question set.
Your perimeter, at every stage
From scoping to handover, your documents stay within your infrastructure. No stage requires sending them to an external service.
Start with scoping
Thirty minutes are enough to examine your project and give you an initial feasibility analysis, whether or not we work together.
